WOYWW 138 and more boxes!

This is today's crafty corner of the dining room, prepping samples for this Saturday's class making gift boxes.  Centre front we have a cute little butterfly hexagon box (templates from a CD by Payperbox) stamped and decorated with butterflies.  Behind that is a pyramid box decorated with hearts (yes, Valentine's Day soon dear, if you're reading this :-)

Then you have a small collection of my Stickles glitter glues, and just behind that a teeny tiny set of dragonfly and butterfly stamps that I've had for years and absolutely adore! They are tiddly tho, perfect for backgrounds!

I didn't dare take a pic of the whole table, cos anyone who read my blog last week might notice that most of the same stuff is still there! Have been super busy this last week, and lost a day yesterday after a visit to the osteopath (old war wound lol!) after which I felt like I'd been kicked by a mule (actually petite and blonde, but she still packs a punch!)

After doing a quick flick thru my Blogger reading list, has anyone seen the preview of the new Distress Ink Marker Pens???   Ooooooooh, I really NEED these!!!!

I have deadlines coming at me all over the place, 3 classes in the next week, and samples to make for the trade show at the NEC, so forgive me if I don;t make it to your WOYWW entry this week.  I will do my best later today when I have a bit more time, so for now, I'm off to add my name to the list over at Julia's blog, then it's back to the inkpads :-0

Thanks for stopping by

    1. Hi Debs, I so love those boxes - gorgeous!

You asked how I clean the duster brushes. As I work upstairs it's a quick trip into the bathroom, bowl of warm water and then rub the bristles on a bar of soap before sort of squeezing it through and then rinsing in clear water. Ha, ha - you have to clean the soap afterwards for fear of blue faces :))

  18. Those pens sound great. They might stress the UIU principle. I shall have to find another way of getting the same result. Thank you for your visit and lovely comments, and well done for getting your cards published. You must be so proud. xx Maggie #90

  19. Do not tell me about Distress ink pens! I do not want to hear it. I am only starting to decide I can like the ink. I'm not ready to break into pens too. That's a great collection of Stickles that you have there, and as always, awesome boxes!

  20. Don't tell me about new stuff you want either, I'm doing perfectly well without them at the mo!!! Cute boxes, hope they enjoy Saturdays workshop.

  21. Oh Debs, those boxes are just gorgeous - so pretty! One can never get tired of butterflies! Hope all goes well on Saturday, and for the rest of your busy week.

Distress ink marker pens??? Oh no... something else I've simply GOT to have! I adore my distress inks and distress stains... Wonder if they'll have them at the craft show I'm going to at the beginning of February?

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've not been too well since Christmas but seem to be in an alternate bad day/slightly better day phase at the moment so I hope I'm starting to pick up again!

  25. The gift boxes look great! I, too, am very excited about the Distress Ink markers -- a total "must have" -- can't wait until they are available and hope they're not too pricey.
