This is my messy desk today - front & centre the offcuts of some bright colours from my snippets box - colours I rarely use, like purple, bright orange & lime green, but they are absolutely perfect for Halloween!!
And these are the Halloween cards I'm making with them!
I've used Spellbinders Ovals and Floral Ovals for the centre piece, and loads of offcuts of white card - I have an entire box of these, and it's used regularly! The stamps used are a Hero Arts Halloween set, and a Pumpkin and Aubergine Halloween set - lots of useful little images in there!
This is a Wiper card, when you pull the sides, a little flag pops up with a hidden message - love it! We'll be making this at my classes next week - just need to add a few bats!
So I'm going to link this to Pixies Snippets Playground, then go off & see what's on other people's desks via Julia's blog hop.
Thanks for stopping by

ReplyDeleteYou have got a little assembly line going! Great use of snippets, Deb.
ReplyDeleteThey are going to look cute with some bats on them.
Have to get cracking on with mine...only have finished so far...need three more.
I make card kits for crops...work from sketches or a hand drawn idea of my own. Luckily there is a Big shot and cricut there so just bring my dies and folders with me. Each plastic baggie has everything for the card in it. Lots of work to make up the card kits ahead, but I go just to get out and spend some time with like minded ladies...giggle and have fun all night!
I do find it is easier if you try to make all the cards on a theme like fishing or Christmas etc...then you are only pawing through one set os supplies to get ready lol
Love your busy working desk ...the interactive card is fun. Thanks for sharing. Be well Carole #91

What fun Halloween cards! Love the wiper card!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. They remind me of some halloween stamps I have had since my daughters were little. I will have to get them out and make them some halloween card to brighten their dorm rooms.

Lovely busy desk this week, Debs. One day I hope my desk will be busy too! Thanks for your lovely comment - yes, my new room is brilliant, isn't it. What you saw in the photo is only a small part of it - there are different work zones around the room for different activities but so far most of it isn't anywhere near organised - and associated storage with each area, and a large storage area along one wall. I'm looking forward to having got the rest of the house a bit more organised before I can start creating with a clear conscience.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Love the look of your perpetual calendar, shame I'm not around that day. I'd love to make Halloween cards but I wouldn't know who to send them to!
ReplyDeleteOoh Deb, get in there and tidy up will ya! Love those Halloween cards, never seen a wiper card before though, you could have a lot of fun with that! We didn't get any snow in the end, but we did have hail and sleety showers on Saturday.
