WOYWW - organised chaos

My desk looks a bit chaotic today - working on several projects and bits of all scattered everywhere!

You can see my stamping scratch pad centre stage (old flipchart pads of which I have tons!!). I use this as a stamping base, and to scribble notes - currently planning next weeks class!!  and seems like lots of people in craft land are having a bit of a spring clean/storage sort out - I have posted several storage solutions this week, and I'm still sorting - and I've noticed a definite trend in that direction among crafty blogs!

And this is my desk 10 seconds after I took this pic! No wonder I don't get much done lol!! Barney demanding attention trumps any project - he has the loudest miaow ever!!

Scheduled this as I'm not around today. Will visit your lovely worth desks later via Julia's weekly global desk hop

Happy crafting!

  1. Hi Barney,
    Hi Debs,
Just been looking back at your storage solution ideas. Must admit I'm a cardboard hoarder too, mostly recycle the boxes that 8 out of 10 cats prefer! Cut down they make good index files and I also use on mini albums and remaking into covered material boxes. I managed to refrain from popping down to the Farnborough show but am defo off to the Ally Pally in April. hugs Mrs A.

  5. What a lovely kitty helper you have. :-)

I'm glad mine doesn't jump up and get fur all stuck to my clay!

  6. Happy WOYWW! I always say my cat isn't allowed in my craft area...yet she always gets in and amuses herself with threads and ribbons!

  7. I couldn't sit comfortably at my desk without scratch pad/paper to support me! I like the look of your colour chart..is it printed or did you make it..and to what do they refer I wonder?

  8. It's true, Debs, lots of us turn to sorting after the holidays I think. For me it has to do with putting away all the Christmas stuff that sits out for weeks and weeks ... then one thing leads to another ...

Love that Barney wanted in the picture BAD, LOL!! Thanks for coming by to visit me. See you in a couple of weeks! Darnell #50

  10. Great looking desk. Love the card at the top. I have two cats like Barney that demand you stop any pay attention to you or the grouse and whine till you do! Little late getting around this week but better a little late then never! Hope you have a great week. Vickie #11
