Woyww

The chaos that is my desk today....

The usual radio/spotty craft caddy top left. Then my duster brushes & heat gun. Centre desk you can see my mini album made at a workshop on Sunday with Hels Sheridan - finished off at home on Monday with embellishments, ribbon & more tags (that's why heat gun, duster brushes & ribbon scrap bags are still out!)

Finally front centre is a stash of Dufex stickers I bought when I first started crafting years ago. Back then I was a magpie - bought lots of shiny sparkly stuff which I don't often use now. My intention is to 'use it up' for mini cards like thank you's but so far only got as far as dragging them out of the basket lol :-)

So I've shown you mine......and if you're wondering what it's all about, take a peek at Julia's blog, she who hosts this weekly world tour.

Thanks for stopping by

Debs x

  4. Thanks for stopping by and pleased you like the owl. Not quite stamping, but pyrography is enjoyable too.

I always say when Margaret visits our local fabric mill shop, you may not know exactly what your going to use it for now, but it doesn't go off!!!!!!!!! Maybe years later, it will be turned into something beautiful. (Margaret is my better half at glitterandglue) She's not on WOYWW this week as she's only just got back home from sorting her Dad's house out.

Have a good WOYWW week, kind regards, John-W #58.

  5. Ah Debs, I did that..bought stuff, looked at it, filed it. Dragged it out about a year ago, realised that it wasnt in me even to just use it up..donated it to the Brownies! cant get close enough to see your mini to well, but presume that you enjoyed the workshop with HS..the give away is that you've finished at home. Ive done a couple workshops that I've never other end to look at again, so that's how I now judge them!!

  10. I'll bet you enjoyed that workshop, Debs! Good for you for using up the magpie collection!! Happy WOYWW! Thanks for coming to visit me! (I can just imagine your face when you opened that container upside down! Yikes! Luckily the one I have doesn't slide open, you have to open the top and then unscrew the section you want. Better for me coz I would do exactly what you did!) Have a wonderful couple of weeks! Darnell #24

  11. Good for you for finishing up your mini book so quickly!

I smiled when I saw the Dufex stickers on your desk. I have a lot of things like that too. Since I make a lot of cards to give away, these can work out fine for that use. Those cards are not being given to cardmakers.
Some are for the grandkids to give at their little friends
birthday parties. Some are for my girls to give as thank you cards etc.
I pulled mine out too and filed them in a fancy shoebox. When I am a bit bored or short of time, they are the perfect kind of card to make.
